About Me

I came out West after grad school looking for a mountain town I could call home — and I found it here in Jackson. What started as a dream to be closer to wilderness turned into something deeper: a strong connection to this land, this community, and a slower, more intentional way of life. These days, I spend my time outside of work floating the rivers with my wife, fly fishing, backpacking, and just being in the mountains. I'm always learning something new about the wildlife, plants, or the changing seasons — it keeps me grounded.

Nature has always had a way of helping me reset, and I believe it does the same for a lot of people. That belief shows up in how I do therapy — steady, open, and grounded. My work is about creating space for people to slow down, get honest with themselves, and figure out what’s getting in the way of the life they want.

I’ve been in the field for 15 years, working with teens, young adults, and adults in a range of settings — from residential treatment to addiction recovery to parent coaching. These days, I mostly work with people who are ready for change but aren’t sure how to make it. I support adults dealing with anxiety, depression, or major life transitions, and I help them build healthier patterns, shift old beliefs, and reconnect with their values.

Clients often tell me they feel safe opening up with me. There’s no judgment here — just someone who shows up, listens closely, and helps you do the work that matters.

Our Approach

Therapy is a place to slow down, tune in, and work through the things that are keeping you stuck. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, life changes, or just feeling overwhelmed, our work together is about making space for real, honest conversations — and helping you move toward a life that feels more aligned and manageable.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Our work will be tailored to you — your story, your goals, and what feels meaningful to you. I’ll meet you where you’re at, whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after some time away.

In sessions, you can expect a calm, down-to-earth space where you’ll be supported and challenged in the right ways. We’ll look at what’s underneath the patterns you want to shift, explore how your past might be shaping your present, and build practical tools you can use outside of therapy — to manage stress, regulate emotions, set boundaries, and navigate tough moments with more confidence.

I show up as a real person in the room (or on the screen), and I invite you to do the same. Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or clinical. It can be thoughtful, direct, even humorous at times — because real growth often comes from feeling understood, seen, and supported as your full self.
